[+] I'll be naming Society for Venturism in my will.

I'll be naming Society for Venturism in my will-- all my records and files and the house will go to the Society for Venturism. I'll be preparing further statements and instructions on this in the near future.

I'd like to have membership-- but I'll do it without membership if neccessary. I've named Mike Perry as my durable power of attorney for health care-- I haven't asked him and I don't know what the legalities are of doing that, but I did it anyway. I think the Venturists should talk about these issues in this forum. The cancellation of Ventureville was a disappointment-- I think we need to re-examine that-- and come up with Plan B.

The actual transfer of the house will be through a Beneficiary Deed-- I'm named on a Beneficiary Deed but the "alternate" will be The Society for Venturism so when I die, it goes to the Venturists. I'll likely look more carefully at a Living Trust in the near future, instead-- something Dave recommended but it's more complicated whereas a Beneficiary Deed is very simple in the state of Arizona... so I'll do the easy one first.

Mike Perry believes in external records-- as helpful to reanimation-- and so do I. The records in my house are in the process of being digitized-- very very slowly--because I'm unable to put time and effort into it at this point. The intention, however, is to digitize it so that I can have an immortal representation of me-- for use by Society members.

The house could be used by future Venturists after I'm in the tank-- it's within 30 minutes of Alcor headquarters. I would designate it, therefore as a post-mortem Ventureville-- dedicated to the establishment of a community of cryonicists.
