[+] Dave Pizer has taken the misstion to democratize Alcor a step further. My views on this are underdeveloped. I'm only at the point of observing things right now. I'm preoccupied with the Election 2008 process-- and personal affairs. It's a little over the top for me to add this event to my cognitive awareness and processing. My position at this time, then, is simply to observe.

The significant NEW thing occurring her, in my view, is that Dave has upped the ante in taking this public. Previously, there were public posts here and there, but the creation of a dedicated website takes this to a new level. I'm not convinced the website is constructed in the optimally efficient way-- there are shortcomings-- and I think I'll likely comment on THAT before anything else, McLuan said the medium is the message-- and to that extent, if Dave Pizer wants to carry this point into action, the medium still needs a bit of massaging and tweaking.
