[+] I'm familiar with this city-- more or less. It's been a few years since I've lived there but the essential character of the city , I think, would be similar today. There happens to be a relatively substantial group of pro cryonics people here. I was there when Ben Best was initiating the Cryonics Society of Canada-- I wasn't too happy with Ben Best at the time-- he seemed highly intelligent and personable enough-- but there was something about him that was driving him to a higher level of activity-- that seemed to displace his ability to connect at least to me. I now view my original meetings with him as an encounter with an extreme reductionist-- I just didn't know what I was facing. The high speed reductionist human-- tends to compartmentalize extremely efficiently-- and I now view that in terms of brainwave activity.. Ben is high beta-- very high-- with a narrow alpha, and we can map this out-- using a low cost special purpose EEG machine that I'm working on acquiring.
