CRYONICS-- Stodolsky-- economism

[+] I liked the post Stodolsky made here. Here are the rest of Stodolsky's Cryonet posts. [+]. He's the only cryo who sees that biofuels is a hoax that is genocidal. I noticed that when I went to gas up my car yesterday, the pump at Shell said the gas is 10% biofuels-- we don't even have a choice anymore-- we're FORCED to burn corn and starve people. The ONLY socially aware cryo I know of right now is Stodolsky.

Dave Pizer should LISTEN CAREFULLY to Stodolsky's argument here on THIS point-- as should ALL high net worth cryos--

Dave regarded Stodolsky's research that showed Alcor falling behind CI-- as one reason to lead {LEAD, Dave)-- a discussion on the political re-structuring of Alcor-- which led to CPlatt (who has disappeared again)-- UNCOVERING the original bylaw in Alcor calling for a Director Electorate-- which Fred has not publicly commented on-- which I beleive he should... but again-- cryos are not openly discussing these interesting and non-threateing topics in an atmosphere of intellectual curiosity. it's very likely that very FEW high net worth people have experience with higher education. I'll look into that sometime. In the meantime, since Dave regards STodolksy on the growth point, he ought to look carefully at the Ecnomism point...

QUESTION-- What number was increasing faster? Cryonauts? If so, CI takes bad cases that Alcor rejects. So the number is misleading.

My comment-- and yet Saul Kent's entire approch is based on that-- which calls Kent's line of reasoning into question-- and since Kent no longer communictates online publicly, we're left with nothing to go on to advacne this argument.

MY conclusion-- I read Stodolsky's post twice now and I still don't get it. The only part I DO understand and agree with is the opening paragraph. Cryos are so mind-bendingly self-oriented that they're ignoring the FACT that we live in a real world-- and that the context for cryonics MUST accomodate the real world. The fact that cryonicists have stopped openly supporting the existence of the USA, for instance-- and their failure to probe the true origins of LIbertarianism as a British ploy to destroy nation-states-- and therefore to destroy the US-- and their rejection of good statecraft and good government-- is very likely going to lead to the end of cryonics-- and most certainly places CURRENT cryonics in a cult area-- although the idea itself isn't a cult.

There is no substitute for open pursuit of the truth. The move Alcor has made to "promote" cryonics in recent years, in my view, is not where we need to go. Cryonics is as much about death as life-- and we need to discuss death related topics more-- again in the proper context.

Writers in cryonics I like the best in the recent past are Stodolksy and Maxim. These two people have a sort of open public honesty that is lacking in other cryonicists. A lot of cryos simply don't publish anything-- but again-- for cryonics to have tractin in the word and to attract better minds-- we need to DEMONSRATE our ability to think and write-- in an intellectually honest way without revealing psuedonymsn when desired.
