Mad Money guy on cable tv was more serious the other day and indicated that the insurance companies of the banks were the bottom end of the situation and that if they could be braced with 250 billion, that that would put confidence back into the market. I have a contact who also cited the figure of 300 or 400 billion and shrugged it off.

Meanwhile Laoruche is saying the problem is systemic, and that it won't stop there but could lead to a complete unravelling of the world-- it's really the British empire system vs. the American System.
