GOD THEORY-- George Dvorsky-- missing the boat

Dvorsky agrees with Dawkins on God. [+. The easiest way to dismiss Dvorksy and Plus on matters of God-- and the most fun way-- is to get them to express their views on ancient astronaut theory. There are other angles on this, but that's a fun one because if they ever try to look at that topic, you'll see their ideas gutted. Even Dawkins could probably get hung on that topic.

Ancient astronaut theory explains one level of God theory. Another level of God theory involves Jesus having been a sub-atomically complex creature descended indeed from the mastermind of the universe. The easiest way to attack Plus, Dawkins and Dvorsky on this is to get them to consider the Jesus story as science fiction. They OUGHT to enjoy that but they'll resist it because they won't want to entertain such a powerful and possible idea-- for fear that it will expose atheism as a cult.

Finally, we cannot know ultimate reality so speculative cosmology which is what religion is, is valid. God theory in my book arriives at God through reason, not revelation. The power of reason IS in fact, THE single way to arrive at God. For one thing, it's not LOGICALLY possible to PROVE that God does NOT exist because it's impossible to PROVE a negative. Ask Dvorsky, Plus and others about that. They'll say extraordinary claims require extroordinary proof-- which I can deal with later-- however that's not going to neutralize the problem that THEY cannot prove that God does NOT exist.
