I've been workng with a paralegal on helping me do a will and there are lots of worries to worry about-- one being that a standard simple will doesn't allow for a "disposition statement" unless you put it in there. This is an advantage for cryonics orgs that do last minute preservations through relatives because unless someone has stated that they do NOT want cryonics, they CAN be frozen by their kids. Ben Best says if the will callls for burial, then that creates a problem-- but his account glosses over the REALITY of how things work. Ben Best only sounds as if he knows what he's talking about-- but in that article above he fails to mention the idea that without a codicil stating NO CRYONICS-- that cryonics CAN take place.

My own will that I'm developing specially has to be modified --from the standard forum-- to include a pro-cryonics disposition-- Cryonicists are not talking about this-- and Alcor never writer articles about it. I've been referred to an Alcor page on disposition and wills but the way the topic is written about-- doesn't really allow for discussion of the nuances and details, case studies and my worries.
