IMMORTALITY-- Imminst.org-- 02-- Reductionists won't make it.

I've watched Imminst.org for some time-- they apparently have been trashing a guy who talks about symbolic immortality-- I've worked with that guy on Cold Filter-- and it's arguably a relevent idea-- but he never understood Classical Immortality-- which is MORE than symbolic-- it's real in terms of principles... transmitted through generations. It lays the basis for civilization-- since what he have right now is a kind of relay race to the future... And as we get better at physical immortality methods, we'll have to use it to "get there". The Immisnt.org people treat death as an emergency that they have to deal with exclusively-- ignoring the intergenerational relay race.. which I say is unethical-- because the odds of surviving death through anti-aging or cryonics are not high-- and civilization cannot survive without classical immortality. Classical immortality is a precondition for physical immortality. The imminst.,org reductionists are putting the cart before the horse.. actually they're ignoring the horse. They're simply sitting in the cart, expecting it to go. In this way, I view them all as philosophically corrupt idiots. Especially Wowk and Plus.
