CRYONICS-- CPlatt-- 01-- Deep insight and interaction from CPlatt on CI lends credence to my theory

MY theory on CPlatt is that he is an SA agent, most fundamentally, who is charged with the responsibility, by Saul Kent, to recruit more CI members into SA-- since Alcor turned down the offer to use SA's services. He's a salesman. The way he sells is to "be an example" of the sort of person he wants to see more of.

You have to be an observer of cryonics like me to see how the curvature of his actions over time-- years and decades-- appears this way given the reference points I know. Everything he's doing now is consistent with my theory. CPlatt's latest big score in research/publishing (he's good at it-- and has been a pubished science fiction novel writer and professional writer for Omni magazine and Wired magazine)-- was the discovery that Alcor's bylaws call for a director electorate-- mkaing the current Alcor board possibly illegal under California law, where Alcor was incoproated. Dave Pizer stimulated that discovery-- and was online a lot in Jan and Fed-- but essentailly flamed out in March-- gone underground again-- I havent checked his site recently [Reform Alcor]-- you can check it and report back to this blog in the comments section. There's a "to do" for YOU-- anyone please thanks.

So-- CPlatt disappeared for awhile and now he's back carrying on representing CI and SA in CF--doing soft sales-- very interesting tactic. I like it-- but at the same time-- I also like to frame it as what I see it as. The thing that unperson asks CPlatt about-- the capabilitiy of SA-- is a good direction and CPlatt always counters with an invalid reponse that deals with Alcor's capaibilities... but someone should pressure CPlatt into a full summary of C81. Unperson made a good point that Alcor hasn't had a a member die in awhile-- that explains why alcor hasn't demonstrated its ability. CPlattt keeps harping on that-- and needs to acknowledge Unpersons point.

[+] Here you see CPlatt in excellent form, once again pointing to the need to make phone calls. He has done that in the past alot-- forgetting the POINT of a forum is to invite those who would normally be on the phone to express theie ideas in a forum RATHER than have to have phone calls made, privately. He's still a believe in pull-information-- in an internet connected world where the ethic is to share information. Pulling information was neccessary before the net-- and it's still probably neccessary but the net makes it so people who WANT to share, CAN share.

Anway, Platt then expresses and AMAZING amount of information he got from his pull-info phone call-- which any OTHER ordinary mortal would NOT be able to get-- simply because ordinary people would not know what to ask. CPlatt is intimately involved in knowing how SA operates because he was head honcho there for a couple years recently. EVeryone there know CPlatt... so it's kind of funny to see him put his dunce cap on and pretend he's just an ordinary cryo like you and me.

Aside from his pretense, and aside from my theory about him being an agent who denies having deep cover contacts with SA and Kent that are ongoing, you can see from his posts that there are some interesting features of the cryonics landscape featured here.

What Cplatt is doing is very clever-- it reminds me of the faux news broadcasts on tv-- people reading the "news" but it's really an infomercial. FOX went so far as to introduce a correspondent recently-- as news-- taking us to the putty man who sells putty... and that guy went into his speil-- as IF it was news... Marketing companies are training kids to go into bars and nightclubs to act as normal customers-- but who use a particular products-- and they meet other people as IF it's just a friendly meeting-- and they bring the conversation around to the product-- Sick stuff, man.... it's call "viral marketing"... and CPlatt is good it in this role as an SA agent. I can't PROVE it-- but again-- I used heuristic reasoning and curvature... like Plato's shadow on a cave wall.. YOu can tell I'm correct best by noting what CPlatt does NOT talk about. HE does NOT talk about C81-- and Maxim-- or make any reference to it-- even though it was THE SINGLE HIGHLIGHT EVENT of 2007 for SA-- that DEFINES SA. Everything CPlatt says about SA ought to refer to THAT defining moment-- but he doesn't do that-- so that tells you that he has an agenda or a mission. Watch Mission:Impossible TV shows from the 1960's-- and pretend that instead of international espionage-- the MI team were involved in marketing. This is what CPlatt is doing and there's a LOT at stake in cryonics to support the notion that this is what he's doing-- because another curvature historical reference point is saul kent's 1960's mission to "consolodate cryonics"-- well-- CPlatt is involved in that cryonics mission: impossible. Everything I'm seeeing is consistent with that.

UPDATE--

I see Platt made POSITIVE reference to C81 last year calling it a stellar performance... which is a revisionist history-- but readers who don't look into the history won't able to tell.

Also-- Kent is on Alcor's board, and IS an Alcor member-- yet with his astonihsing amount of money from vitamin sales (still a question in my mind-- )-- finances SA which doesn't make money-- and has no prospect to make money despite more than 6 million dollars being spend over the past several years. Kent as an Alcor member, rightly ought to have helped Alcor's mission-- but he keeps going out of his way-- to do everything he can to trump Alcor... and at the same time-- be inside alcor. This conflict of interest goes unchallanged by member or the board. it's a weird situation.
