CRYONICS-- Alcor-- dy-- 36-- CPlatt's line of though trumps Bridge-FD

Unperson is on track-- FD is still attempting to redirect-- and start fresh. I've had problems with FD for a long time-- and now here's another one. Why is FD trying to redirect attention to an entirely NEW effort and ignore the past? FD was unable to integrate my insistance that there is an Iran attack being set up. It does appear that the cognitive power of FD is-- despite being focused on narrow points-- simply unable to accomodate larger persectives. Since FD has taken over CF-- this is important for everyone to be aware of.

Note that Bridge is also backing FD on this. Bridge has been around a long time in Alcor-- and likely has more he can say on this switch in 1987-- I've had a few run ins with Bridge too. Bridge is viewed as Mr. Nice guy in cryonics-- and certainly DID repair problems at Alcor with niceness-- however there is a limit to what nice can do. Civiility doesn't work when being attacked uncivilly-- It's nice that Bridge has exposed his hand here however. I'm the guy who got these guys OFF the UNthreaded cryonet so they could banter on a thread like you're seeing. They're all using my suggested format and it's working.

Pizer cross-posted to CF and Cryonet-- without pointing to CF-- this makes him the equivlent of a prostitute or cross dresser in my book. He doesn't know what he's doing when it comes to media. His point was good however so instead of bashing him for that-- which is a waste of time-- I'll just redirect Cryonet readers to CF.

CPlatt is now contacting Chamberlain on this point. Chamberlians started Alcor-- and were booted out for what was tantamount to embezzlement over funds provided by Kent earmarked for emergency resuce--and Fred went and applied them to a profit company he tried to start to preserve cells. I was at the board meeting where they called him on it. Nobody followed Fred into the cell preservation dept. after the meeting except a handful of people-- and I couldn't understand why. It was a weird experience.

WE're into the second or third day now-- of this revelation-- by Pizer-Cplatt of an original bylaw that allowed a vote by members-- truly shocking considering that I thought that Alcor was instituted from the beginning as a director-self-voting system.... Micheal Riskin is the longest sitting board member-- and has posted to Cryonet 73 times. [+]

There appears to me to be some things not quite lined up for me-- in Riskin. Here's a Riskin Cryonet post where he provided information on sex partner therapy to cryonicists-- where he says it's a psychological thing-- then adds that a drug is used that can cause extended harmful erections. The contradiction appearing in one paragraph indicates to me that there's something seriously wrong in Riskin's ability to integrate ideas. I don't believe he saw that contradiction. This would be consistent with overall cryonicists' cognitive disabilities-- namely-- reductionism and compartmentalization. His public silence along with that of the rest of the board is consistent with reductionist minds being faced with integrationist projections and challenges. They simply can't handle them-- they cannot fathom them-- and consider integrations a threat.... somewhat like FD and Bridge.
