MIND CONTROL-- 01-- Abortion and situation killing as a digital mind effect

I grew watching TV and changing channels. Surfing was familiar to me long long before the net. Recently Larouche and his cohorts have written about the digital mind-- the effect of the blogs- and the net-- on the mind. It occurred to me that some of what he writes about are things that I think I have experience with in my past-- that emulate those effects on a very small scale. For example, in terms of abortions and what I call "situation killing".

It may very well turn out, in the future history of the world, that abortions were an early symptom of "digital thinking". A fetus is terminated-- or it's not. That's a digital proposition, a 1 or a 0. The experience of human conception on a societal scale would involve choices that could be documented as follows-- 10001010101000001110101010101001-- etc. That would be the pattern of "allowing the fetus to continue"-- 1-- and "cancelling it"-- 0. In the digital abortion area, no thought is given to the analog non-linear processes involved-- which are substantial.

Turning to TV channel changing-- we view the TV as a box within which worlds reside-- something like web pages today-- The "dial" or "remote" being the way to instantly change that world. As I review my biography, it seems to me that my previous way of thinking about various situations was that I could "change the channel" on a situation-- LIKE a TV set. THAT, to me, reflects digital mindedness-- and I'm a little bit horrified for having discovered this in my previous incarnations of myself in earlier years. Wow. No wonder I used to drink beer. Beer would soften the inhibitions about treating my sometimes intentional walking away from situations to "kill" that situation-- to take myself out of that situation-- to perform situation suidice. Of course, we all still do this to a degree but I think RADICAL situational killing is a symptom of early childhood channel changing on a TV set. It's symptomatic of the digital mind.

The old fashioned way to talk about situations is to teach people must be responsible for their actions. This always seemed burdonsome to me while growing up being lied to in various ways by authorities, churches especially who taught be that angels exist, and to pray to an invisible God. My ideas about God are more sophisticated these days but the early childhood training was to be unquestioned-- and that really made me dislike all of it. If I couldn't question it, I couldn't learn about it. Being responsible for actions while I, myself, experienced an UNREASONABLE situation, seemed rediculous-- so THUMP-- changing the channel was a solution.

The new way to look at this, I think, is not to talk about "responsibility for actions" or "consequence for actions" but rather from the point of view of further explanation of what that means. Situations in life are NOT digitial. They are analog. And so there's an entire fabric of real connections invovled in situations that don't "change WITH the channel change"! It's NOT POSSIBLE to simple "change the channel" on a situation-- becuase the organic analog non-linear aspects of reality DEFY digitization.

The TV, in my early years, predisposed me, I think, to a form of EARLY digital mind control. I'll likely be more aware of this in the near future and try to do more analog things in my life, and get more comfortable with the analog situations that arise-- and that I'm always surprised "exist". The idea that we "LIVE" in a computer simulation-- was in vogue in the 1980s' and I bought into it-- but that too-- has to go out the analog window. I wonder how far I'll have to go in this "digital deprogramming" effort? It might be interesting. Ultimately, the light switch might be a danger too-- since it's either on or off. ANYthing in the world that allows an either/or, and off/on or a duality-- is now cause for concern... which is rather alarming.

Of course, it's possible this entire post is completely and totally wrong and misguided. In that case, the duality would be right or wrong-- and there again is digital thinking. Maybe we can't escape it. We're all trapped in madness.. in digital minds trying to understand an analog universe. Incredible.
