DS points to Warren Buffet this morning. [+]. Larouche has little regard for Buffet and his sort. [+] I'm surprised DS points to Buffet without further comment on the lack of ethics of Buffet-- given DS's apparent higher regard for humanity than most of the cryonics community.

The feature of the the Buffet situation DS wanted us to look at, I think, was Buffets repsonse to impending death-- but even in that regard, given his money, and his Gates connection, Buffet could do better. He could hire MS to do an expert system of himself (AI isn't feasible but ES is)-- so that he could live on forever as an ExSP (expert system persona). It's not immortality like cryos want, but it's a step in the right direction away from total annihalation.

From a Classical Huamnist point of view, Buffet is anathema to humanity. but that's another issue.
