SLAVERY-- 01-- British Empire behind African slaves-- what about sex slavery

I've been reading up on the history of Lincoln and his battle with the British Empire over slavery. This view needs to get into all the schools... because it's an accurate portrayal of how it was-- When I check my high school notes-- it wasn't told like this-- The British Empire was behind the Confederacy and the cotton trade-- Now-- today we have sex slavery-- and it's worse than I thought-- see Conspiracy Planet--> [+]. This stuff is generally hidden by "mainsream media"... only the net allows us to bring it forward-- and an alphabeticized periodical blog-- like this-- to track it.

I had occasion to talk to a nice Australian retired couple the other nite-- over a pint of beer-- and they're very much against all religion-- however the wife did say she believes in the Golden Rule... and this is a start becuase human beings-- for civilization to exist-- need to position themselves on a higher plane-- and we have to create an emergency condition where we see the inhumane use of humans-- as in sex slave trade-- as anti-human-- It's worse than I thought.

[+] Here's a Frontline-- documentary-- that covers the "new' global sex trade. Frontline is about the best documentary series I can think of over that past 20 years.

Online church-- I mentioned the couple I met last night who are anti-religious. It got me thinking about the central motivation for religion-- which isn't all bad-- especially in the Christian world-- which is raising the dignity of mankind. So where are the online Chrisitian churches? What would that look like? For one thing, I think the online church would have to have an index-- along the lines of Conspriacy Planet or my blog. Frontline's expoisure of this is certainly helpful to the Christian mission--

Comment on the Frontline article-- this documentary deals with older younger women-- which is evil enough but the Conspiracy Planet article deals with children-- and it's worse in some ways-- I think -- as the sex slaves get younger.... It's astonishing to think that this stuff continues-- despite what we think of as progress... I think I know someone personally who goes to Thailand for this-- the general outline of his story is consistent with taking part in this business.
