CRYONICS-- Soul storage-- 01-- Cryonics hopes to trap the soul

In the supernatural world, the idea of where the soul goes is well established-- it either goes to heaven immediately or gets put into storage by God. All cryonics does is put the soul into storage at Alcor rather than allow it to be stored in heaven with God. That's the narrative I'm working on, and the narrative I would suggest cryonicists help develop-- in order to make cryonics growth oriented.

It's not for everyone. It's experimental work with the soul-- which a lot of people want to leave in God's hands-- which is fine. God WANTS us to discover the rules of his universe however-- and he leads some of us to the path of working with Him in this way-- in the area of soul storage. It makes no difference to the soul whether it's stored in a frozen brain at Alcor or in heaven. It's simply held in stasis, either way. The advantage of storing it at Alcor is that there is a chance we can return to a living state before the end of the ages-- before the Final Judgement. This doesn't not imply that we're not going to be subject to it-- just that we can return sooner rather than later.

Cryonics must adopt the beleif systems of religions in this way to become successful. Religious cosmology oriented people are not going to drop their beliefs for cryonics-- as an "alternative". We don't ahve to be an alternative. We can be systematically adoptive. The creative story writing of science fiction writers who can interpret religions as science fiction is required for this project.
