Mike Darwin not only needs a blog-- he needs a blog with alphabetical tags.

It's astonishing to me to see Mike Darwin make a special entry to the Cold Filter forum that has added references to his original article. He's using the threaded forum like a blog. He doesn't seem to realize that these posts get buried and then there is no way to find them. [+] I attempted to get Maxim blogging and then alphabetizing her entries but she didn't quite get there. [+] These are educataed literate people who ought to be able to immediately grasp the importance of indexing their entries. For example, here's a blog I did about the Virginia Tech Shootings-- with an index that assists readers in navigating the site-- just like a book. [+] The index makes the blog far more readable since you can simply shift to the topic you want, and even become familiar with the alphabetical list in order to penetrate the situation where you want, when you want. The current presidential candidates all need alpha blogs too-- it's really a bad situation when you have presidential candidates who don't know the importance of blogging alphabetically. Durk Pearson who wrote Life Extension: A Practical and Scientific Approach in 1980-- had an extensive index-- one of the most extensive I've ever seen to this day-- in a book. Mike should be pointed to that book-- then to my post here-- and he ought to point readers to various topics in his own blog. His postings to Cold Filter are fine-- but it's lacking in style. You need style as well as substance in today's media.
