Atheist cryonicist Mark Plus's humor incoherent.

Here's a recent post by cryonicist atheist mark plus [+] Nowher in either Old or New Testament is God portrayed as saying that. I don't get the cartoon. The God concept-- should be quite easily understandable-- in stages. First, God is a useful way to understand universal principles-- which do exist. It is in the existence of universal principles-- the human mind being one-- gravity being another-- where we have the situation that the "think" is "invisible"-- and can be proven to exist as a feature of the universe.

The God of the Old Testament involves strange stories to be sure-- I don't regard those as stories of God, however. They must be either metaphors or interpretations by early people-- of natural phenomenon OR... ancient astronauts who were confused for God. In the NEw Testament, we have Jesus who is the Son of Man-- not the Son of God-- The strange stories continue and we can only conclude they're either fabricated to impress early illiterate people OR-- are accounts of another ancient astronaut. Many stories like Jesus preceded Jesus-- so they're either just stories OR repeated ancient astronaut visits.
