Saul Kent's SA Inc takes Maxim's advice, hires perfusionists--

Maxim's critique of SA appears to have resulted in Kent, who is a member of Alcor, in hiring real perfusionsists for SA-- which now has a capability that might be better than Alcor's. [+] Kent wanted to "consolodate" cryonics back in the 1960's and he has managed to make hundreds of millions of dollars selling "vitamins" of all things-- go figure-- and NO OTHER cryonicist seems to have been able to make money the same way. Kent is still a member of Alcor but doesn't like Alcor to the degree that he has set up a competing firm in which no Alcor member is signed up with. Someday, we'll know what the reasoning is behind this. Right now, it's just disturbing and downright bizarre. Kent is on Alcor's board, knows all the inside diope, and somehow, top Alcor people leave on a routine basis. I believe Alcor members are being screwed. SA has made attempts to get Alcor's members in the past-- and I'm sure they'll try again. Nobody writes anything of value in cryonics anymore so it's impossible to figure out what's really going on. In the meantime, the middle class continues to be attacked-- and cryonics in general won't survive if the USA doesn't survive. So-- things are quite a mess.
