CRYONICS-- closed cognitive system-- compartmentalized disciplines-- ghettos

Cryonics is an idea, first and foremost, before it is a technology or a business. And in the world of ideas, I think it's possible that we make mistakes if we ALWAYS compartmentalize-- in other word-- section off one set of ideas from all other ideas. To be sure, that MUST be done in the morning. However, in the evening, figuratively speaking, we need to cycle around and see if we can integrate the one compartment of ideas with the rest of the universe so that we can establish the uni- part of the di-verse part of whatever it is we're dealing with. As it turns out, cryonics today is being conducted, controlled and financed by people who insist-- rather vehemently-- on being a closed "cogntive" system-- separate from the rest of the world. This is self-destructive and I wish to show cryonicists and other cryonewbies the way out of that into an open cognitive system. More with threaded discussion [+]
