WILL-- Living Trust-- Legal Zoom.com-- Futureville Trust

[+]

QUOTE
Because it is a legal entity, the trust—and not you—legally owns your property once it
is transferred into the trust. But as the trust’s “grantor,” you can also designate yourself as the
trust’s initial “trustee,” which means you retain complete control over the assets placed in the
trust. You can move property in or out of the trust, change your beneficiaries, or sell assets as
you see fit.

A Living Trust begins with the creation of a document known as a Declaration of Trust. This
is the legal document that names your beneficiaries, describes the property in the trust, and
specifies the terms of its transfer. A Living Trust is managed by the initial trustee(s)—in most
cases, this is the person or persons who formed the Living Trust. The trustee’s main responsi-
bility is managing the property covered by the trust. When the trustee either dies or becomes
incapacitated, control of the trust automatically passes to the person named as the successor
trustee, whose job it is to carry out the provisions of the trust, including distributing assets to
beneficiaries.

My commment...

The Futureville Trust is a trust that will be created by me to be the named beneficiary of other trusts created by cryonicists. Sometimes, a cryonicist will have nobody that they can trust to take their assets and all their stuff-- including personal archves-- to the far future. Futureville Trust will do that for futurenauts. You won't have to be a cryonicist to name Futureville Trust as a beneficiary-- You can be anyone who doesn't want to see your estate sold off in an estate sale. If you want your great great great grandchildrn to know who you were, Futureville Trust will help. I'm the only trustee of the Futureville Trust right now-- which isn't even created-- I'm only on the drawing board with this.

I know Futureville Trust will work because I myself would have liked to have something liket this. I would have thought cryonicists like Dave Pizer would have been able to concieve something like this-- and that the Venturists would have formed something like this for cryonicists-- but nope. Not enough creative brain power collecitvely in all of cryonics apparnetly. What puts me out ahead of the pack in creativity like this? I'm not sure. Someday, I'll look back and try to find out. For now-- The FutureVille Trust concept is my hobby horse to replace the defunct Ventureville concept in cryonics. And I'm looking for more trustees who will be around if and when I'm gone. That in itself is going to be a big task.

If you're interested in this, you're pretty much going to have to adapt to the ideas of Larouche-- who got his start reading Leibnitz-- and who is interested in intergenerational transfer of the human cognitive capacity to think creatively to uncover laws of nature. We're not reductionists... we're Golden Rennaissance supporters... and we believe in cryonics from a slightly different angle than your run-of-the-mill libertarian atheist transhuman type of reductionist. I need some people who understand the imporatance of food-- and who like to work in the kitchen as I do with food prep. We're going to be creating living spaces in houses near cryonics labs-- in FL, MI, AZ and CA-- as well as my hometown, Toronto. You have to have imagination and a sense of humor. I'm especially interested in women, being a guy. Sort of a hobby of mine.
