Jordan Sparks is a CI director!
I'm advising all cryonicists to immediately investigate what Jordon Sparks is up to. Keep in mind-- CI is contracted with SA Inc. Now-- Sparks is a director of CI. Two valuable Alcor employees picked up and LEFT Alcor recently-- the DeWolfs. Alcor membership fees and other money went into training these people for Alcor-- and yet we see them leave for an organization that has no business being conducted-- so how are they paid? Is Oregon Cryonics a secret Kent operation? Mondragon is in Oregon-- a past Alcor president. Orgeon has a right to die law-- considered very convenient for cryonics. Sparks comes across on previous posts in CF and Cryonet as an independent operator.... well-- find out where the money comes from to pay deWolfs-- This reminds of the SA Inc "headhunter" CPlatt taking Matt Sullivan from Alcor-- SA having burned through 6 million + in 6 years-- with Kent on Alcor's secretive board of directors that has not responded to big cryonics names like Dave Pizer recently. ALL cryos have gone underground... nobody is reflecting the overview-- other than me. I smell a secret operation being disguised as an independent operation. It doesn't have to be this way-- it shouldn't be this way.

Side note--
A lot of the investigative work I do into cryonics involves not neccessarily learning new facts-- but rather determining and reflecting on the significance of either facts or guesses or missing information. It's in the determination of significance of the situations we see-- where I make my unique contributions to the understanding of what's really going on in cryonics.
Most cryonics-- probably all of them other than me-- use epistemological methods based on strictly empricial evidence-- sense perceptions. Cryonicists are notorious bad at hypothesizing on topics related to the internal politics and money connections in cryonics-- or they may be good at it and simply be working to hide the true developments to protect what they feel is their best interests.
I'm signed up with Alcor and have followed cryonics since 1978. There have always been "holes" in the cryonics area that puzzled me-- and it's taken me some to understand how that arises. In this latest shocking case-- this discovery that Sparks is a CI director, many cryonicists MAY claim that that is commonly known-- however I would say that Sparks does not write to CF or Cnet in a way that reminds us of his real position. As most cryos, he doesn't help the reader develop an overarching view and keeps everyone focused on separate "factual" details. The old fashioned technique of "backing up to see the forest for the trees" is all I do-- and voila-- an amazing view emerges-- hypothetically.

[+] Google search on ["right to die" + oregon] shows Oregon as a hotbed of debate on this issue. Cryonics is particularly interested in this because we don't want the brain's structure to deteriorate in the dying process beyond a certain point. Many people are legally alive while their brain turns to much-- unacceptable to cryonics. I'm personally wrestling with how to write my will and my death-bed directives to accomodate this fact. I don't want food and water witheld under any circumstance-- but that conflicst with what's best for me, cryonically speaking. The point here is Oregan is VERY interesting to cryonics.
[+] Dewolfs started a cryonics technical blog recently-- the only other persons in cryonics besides me who attempted such a blog. My Cryonics Technical Review set up several years ago was meant as an example or prototype. DeWolfs expertise far outstrips mine-- the point here is that Alcor lost BIG time here... again to what I see as an underground operation... despite the public foray of Sparks, there's significant items he's NOT telling us I think.
[+] Stranger still is this Alcor news blog post that says CHANA deWolf left Alcor-- no mention of her new husband-- Aschwin. Does this mean that he stayed with Alcor? He's not listed on this staff page, but does appear in the list for the Website working group.
[+] DAMN!!! My "significance detector" just went off the end of the meter again! Guess what? Aschwin's de Wolf's home town is Portland Oregon! What a coincidence! I usuallly take a crap later in the morning than this-- but the shit alarm is signallling now. AGAIN-- understand how I work-- and how you should work as a cryonics investigator-- who IS a cryonicist and who is PRO cryonics.... The key to figuring things out is to RECOGNIZE incongruencies and paradoxes and to not be shy about HYPERBOLIZING these finds... like this one.

[+] Another online bio shows he is degreed in Poly Sci???? -- and here I thought he was more of a scientist and tech guy-- yet he has a MASTERS in "political science"-- which is odd-- I was under the impression that he left SA in 2007 due to crazy stuff going on there-- as descirbed by Maxim. His bio says he "particpates" in alcor's research and yet is ONLY listed on Alcor's site as a website working group partner.
Aschwin de Wolf lives in Phoenix, Arizona and holds a Masters Degree in political science from the University of Amsterdam
[+] Dewolfs-- with Pichugin. Aswchin learned quite a bit about cryonics emergency response-- yet wasn't listed on the Alcor emergency response team. FD in Cold Filter always points out that Alcor doesn't tell us who their emergencey response people are. Well, now we know one WAS this guy who left for Oregon-- his "home town" being Portland-- for an opertaion headed by a CI director-- that is being billed as independent.
I'm going to have to create new blog I think-- called Cryonics Investigative Journal.... one more point--
We see this guy Aschwin de Wolf here with Pichugan...[+] -- then we see Aschwin de Wolf here... [+] It hardly looks like the same guy!-- the cleft chin, heavy eyebrows and mole indicate this IS the same guy.
Finally-- look at the marraige of Chana and Aschwin. What was that about really? Is Chana planning on having a family? Ostensibly, that's what a legal marraige is for. Yet it appears now that Chana's in Oregan and Aschwin remains in Scottsdale... so this is not a normal situation for a marraige. Furthermore, it appears to me that with Aschwin's lack of job description on the Alcor site, and yet apparent presence at Alcor, he would easily be able to feed information to Chana-- who is operating with Sparks who is a CI board director, CI having contracted with SA. The ENTIRE field of cryonics is CONNECTED just beneath the surface in astonishing ways... like corporations with interconnected boards of directors. On the surface, it all looks like separate entities-- but beneath the surface, the insiders are all conneted-- that's my investigative hypothesis.
Now-- the members like me-- are not supposed to be looking beneath the surface-- for some reason. And it's certainly not written about. Why not? Because there is an agenda being carried out that "they" don't want us regular members to know about. Why not? Maybe because it's shocking or controversial-- or maybe it wouldn't be accepted if it were known about. You might way-- well-- these hypothesis are not valid. But that would insult my native intellgence that points to such things as my "discovery" that Sparks is a CI director-- and the Ascwhins hometown is Portland Oregon. The heuristic reasoning pattern I use in this investigation is undeniable "interesting" at the VERY least.
And here's the kickeroo-- the underlying idea behind Saul Kent's cross country cryonics tour in the mid 1960s-- Kent being the absolute-- possibly central headquarters for cryonics-- ALL cryonics-- today-- is the Kent's self-stated mission was to "consolodate" cryonics-- which at the time really DID consist of several disparate units. Another word for consolodate is "monopolize". CF readers are being allowed to believe that Sparks' operation in Oregon is "diversifying" the number of options for cryonicists-- however, my hypothesis indicates that that's not true. MY working thesis and MY mission is simply to find out the truth. I'm signed up for cryonics, I want it to succeed in the world-- and I believe we can make progress in a transparent and truthful way-- and that it doesn't have to be conducted in the nefarious ways it appears to BE being done.
