CRYONICS-- 06-- Maybe Ettinger is "the asshole"

The asshole of cryonics might be Robert Ettinger himself. He used the word asshole in 2003 on Cryonet to describe those who tried to introduce political views to Cryonet. It could very well be a reference to my insertion of Classical Humanism as described most recently in history by Larouche-- to the overall conversation. I published an article in Cryonics magazine in late 2002 with that view and followed up on Cryonet. Here's Ettinger using the word asshole-- [+].

Ettinger was the beneficiary of the economic wealth of the USA based on the rescue of America by FDR. His middle class status in 1962 allowed him the luxury of being able to afford to consider cryonics. Stodolskky has recently been posting to Cryonet about the fact that cryonics cannot gain new members if society at large doesn't have a modicum of wealth-- and presumably that means a sufficient middle class-- Ettinger's astonishing diatribe against discussion of a political frame for cryonics is therefore not only wrong-- but harmed cryonics over the past 30 or 40 years. I conclude that Ettinger has been the most damaging asshole in cryonics history as a result of this single point.

We arrive at a paradox, then. How can it be that the 'father of cryonics" is the "biggest asshole in cryonics"? It's probably the case that the most ardent physical immortalist views life as self-suicidal-- In other words, we all face death by our own self-executing cells. We are programmed to personally die. This is in itself a biological paradox. How can the human mind-- which FEELS itself to be potentially infinite and immortal-- be part of a body that kills itself? An immortal-groping mind lives in a suicide-body-- and we all live in bodies that are suicidal. Our own biological selves literally kill themselves. We are self-executing beings. Isn't that astonishing to view it that way? I think it is.

So the idea that Ettinger can have both created a physical immortality concept based on cryonics, along with Ev Cooper-- (who should be compared to James Fennimore Cooper, American intel patriot)-- and at the same time-- have attempted to destroy politics on CryoNet-- is a manifestation of human immortality desire-- and that self-execution tendency that is built into our biology. Etttinger both created and destroyed cryonics. Therefore Ettinger is cryonics number one asshole-- in my book. That would also explain why he has such a horrible personality too.

Ettinger is facing the end of life, now in his 80's. Compare Larouche's articles on his own views in his mid 80's with asshole Ettingers views. It's quite amazing to compare the views-- because Larouche is doing everything to transmit ideas to the next generation-- whereas Ettinger has either gone silent or maintains the view that politics is out of bounds on Cryonet-- his last work being YOuniverse-- an attempt to promote that idea that you are all that matters in the universe-- when in fact-- it's a US-niverse-- depended on "us"... together--

Ettinger recently pretended cryonics is growing slowly-- when it's not. It's failing more than ever and in the face of the cryonicists lack of politica knowledge, will definitely fail-- in the face of the failure of the USA-- if it goes the way it's going-- without averting the doom facing us as described by Larouche. Nobody has challenged Ettinger on this point-- and nobody in cryonics has labelled Ettinger himself the asshole of cryonics. Ettinger has always been concerned about his own ass-- the epitomy of that expression being in his world "youniverse"-- which for him was not a metaphor but rather literally turned the universe into his youniverse-- a one man universe-- concerned with him alone-- the ULTIMATE egomaniac-- promoting the idea that cryonicists can ALL survive by ALL of us being ULTIMATE EGOMANIACS--

A world of EGOMANIACS-- is exactly what Oligarchy is. And that's politics. The politics of assholes. And Ettinger may very well go down in history as the biggest EGOMANIAC asshole in human history.
