CANADA-- Treasury Secretariat-- IRCAN-- Is this a good thing?

There is a section in the Tresury Secretariet working to provide a common computer language between all governmnet departments called IRCAN. I'm not sure that that's a good thing given the coming corporatism that we need to resist. A variety of operating systems and languages would prevent the government from being able to generate a quick and easy dossier on every citizen-- and would require interdepartmental checks and balances through permissions. To elimiante that through common computer language would enable government to become more invasive. [+] [+] [+]
