ROMAN CATHOLICS-- 01-- Orthodox Church

I had a chance encounter for the second time in a year with an orthodox catholic-- this time from Serbia-- who speaks Croatian-- or I guess Serbian-- since these areas are next to each other in the former Yugoslvia. Kosovo was just granted indepnedence I guess by an international group-- which this Serbian decried-- as the break up of Serbia-- and I pointed out to him that it's worse-- that it's part of the breakup of Yugoslavia-- I didn't get to the part where I could tell him it's part of a British Empire plot.

Anyway, he is with the local orthodox church. I looked up the orthodox Catholic churches in the yellow pages here and found quite a few. Earlier, I met someone who explained that the orthodox Greek church is actually closer to the origin of Chrisitianity. This theory is consistent with the idea that the Roman Catholic church has something fundamentally wrong with it-- having originally been instituted by a Roman emporer, Constantine-- and being influenced by the Jesuits. Jesuits actually helped the native Americans kill new american settlers before the American Revolution. I still haven't figured out who the Jesuits are.
