CRYONICS-- Alcor-- democracy-- Dave Pizer-- 11-- Dave's Blog?

Should Pizer start a blog? I think so. It would be the widest read blog connected to cryonics in the world. I'd be willing to advise Dave on how to intiate it-- and format it. Of course, it's simple. Just copy my format.

Currently, Dave thinks he can push forward on an issue withOUT alphabetically ordered keywords and periodical index. Bzzzt. False. What happens there is the points get buried.

The key point that Dave makes here-- since I'm really good at detecting the SIGNIFICANT features of a situation-- is that he is in meetings with other wealthy people who are interested in moving cryonics forward. My advice on that is that we have to look at principles-- over arching principles-- first.... It's not Alcor-- or Alcor's management per se that is the problem-- although that is "a" serious problem.

Right now, a core problem involves finance on a large scale-- the world scale of finance is collapsing. So NOTHING is going to happen in cryonics-- or ANYTHING-- for that matter-- without understand the basis for money. I realize that might appear to take too large a bite of reality-- but after all-- cryonics intends to delete death-- and if THAT isn't a big bite-- what is? We're supposed to be concerned with ULTIMATE issues-- so we need to apply the SAME "big thinking" to the financial/monetary system of the USA and the world... as we have to the issue of "death". If we DON'T do exactly as I say, then we're doomed. I know what I'm talking about.

So with THAT point in mind, how do we proceed? Alcor is not under any pressure "for the moment"-- so the whole issue of democracy-- and membership-- can be set to one side of the desk "for the moment". With Pizer and the Group of Cryonics Financiers-- who apparently want to "do something more"-- than what's being done-- the FIRST STEP must be to get a better grasp of the larger context of the problem. To THAT end-- we must all understand the salient FEATURE of what Dave pointed out... and I'll quote...

So what we have here is a deep philosophical paradox-- that goes beyond cryonics-- and cryonics is a manifestation of that deeper paradox. We all die. Cryonics is nothing OTHER than frozen death-- on one level. It is NOT, as Wowk puts it, like a "heart transplant". Cryonics is more "hopeless" than it is hopeful-- and the only way cryonics can move forward is to "package and sell hopelessness"-- because there's where you find truth. This isn't to say that there is NO HOPE... but early on in cryonics we used to talk about a NON ZERO CHANCE... and it's THAT element where we're at.

We get excited by the difference between .0000000001 and .00000001-- the order of magnitude difference is huge. The wealthy people who get excited and wet their pants over a lot of zeroes in FRONT of the decimal point-- should absolutely lose their bowels over the number of zeroes BEHIND the decimal point. See-- In my opinion, these guys like "zeroes".... in front while living, and behind after legal death. In fact, EVEN IF there were MORE zeroes behind the decimal, .0000000000000000000000001--- they would like THAT too. This is important. It's NOT "cryonics" per se they like. They LIKE "zeroes". That's my theory.

Cryonics is essentially a non-productive affair. It will NEVER "make money". Not really. It might be a service that can survive in a business atmosphere-- like doing laundry or food service... but the ESSENCE of cryonics is not productivity. So my advice to the big money guys is-- give up. My advice to Dave is-- "forget about it". This entire line of thought about democracy at Alcor-- for me-- is misguided too. I mean-- Dave came out of "nowhere" on this-- and is going nowhere on it. Cryonics isn't even about cryonics. Therein lies the paradox. Until we back away from the dewars to see the economy, we're all acting like deckhands on a Ship of Fools.

Without further analysis-- which I could do-- my advice to Pizer and Group of Zero-Philiacs-- is to call me and pay me a big fat retainer fee for my advice and humor while I assist that group in creating a new Senior Citizen Retirement Hotel with a cryonics lab built in. It looks like Don Laughlin already has the basis for that-- and his operation would be the model for a new chain of hotel/condo units that allow people to retire, get nursing assistance, have an onsite "dying center"-- AND a cryonics option. In other words, for cryonics to be a business-- it has to be an ADD ON-- to an existing service or operation. Now hotels/condos are not "productive" but they are more so if they're "housing".

I'll leave it there other than to say the the FINANCIAL MONETARY SYSTMEM that Dave and the wealth zero-philiacs love so much-- is GONE... That the BASIS for money is gone--- that we're all screwed and if THESE GUYS DID NOT HEAR GREENSPAN say that something will happen that will "PUT US DOWN'-- then all I can say is-- damn-- are you guys that stupid? I mean seriously-- people who have the JOB of maintaining and growing their money-- have absolutely LOST THEIR MINDS-- because the PHYSICAL ECONOMY of the US is being desTROYED-- and the LAST part of NAFTA came into effect Jan 1 2008-- which will SEND MORE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS-- who are STARVING to the US--- NEAR ALCOR--- and this is A DISASTER-- the BRITISH EMPIRE is STARTING WARS AROUND THE WORLD-- and GRABBING RESOURCES-- because THEY KNOW THE MONEY SYSTEM IS FINISHED....

So now what?

Basically, Dave-- you and I and THEY-- the people you spoke to-- are SCROOOOOd. And I KNOW you will NOT listen to me. And they will NOT listen to me.

The ONLY satisfaction I get from this post is to say "I told you so". There's nothing in the world that I like better than to be RIGHT. And on this point, I'm so right that I confidently dismiss you and your wealthy cohorts as IRRELEVENT. I'm personally involved in my own affairs now-- with ONLY a promise to myself to "remain signed up for cryonics"-- but to keep an ARMS LENGTH from it-- because the CONTEXT is MISGUIDED-- and nothing you can do is going to help.

ALL cryonicists have REJECTED my approach. And so have you.

I only hope to avoid pain and suffering now. My ice is thin-- and the ice under America is thin. Let me take this opportunity to make this my LAST post on THIS topic-- since I got off on it this morning-- and for whoever reads it-- fine-- but there IS NO LEADER SHIP in cryonics-- and there will NOT be leadership in cryonics--

Update-- It just occurred to me that the money people in cryonics were proven guilty of gross incompetence when they all -- ALL-- participated in the dumb scheme of so called perp trusts-- Pizer among them. What about INTER GENERATIONAL trust? What about that Dave? You don't have it and you never will. So-- that's it.

Now-- IF the money people in cryonics want MY advice-- highly unlikely-- I would say you need to create EXACTLY what you do NOt want-- another PARADOX--.... but in MY estimation a TRUE paradox... you need to create a CRYONICS CHURCH-- and sideline Wowk and his view.

The NEXT big thing in cryonics SHOULD be and MIGHT be a Cryonics Church that takes care of the needs-- emotional, psychological, social and physical of cryonicists. And there is NO MONEY in that. So there's where we're at. That's my final staetement on this matter of democracy at Alcor.
